For this assignment, you must type a paper conducting a critical analysis on the character Professor Abraham Van Helsing from Bram Stoker’s Dracula. For this paper, you MUST decide whether Van Helsing is either a good character or an evil character and then explain why you feel that way. Is Van Helsing truly a good person or does his obsession with Dracula make him a bad person? You must decide either or, he cannot be both good and evil. This paper must be between 1,200 – 1,500 words. Cite all sources.

For this paper, you must conduct a literary analysis and You are to gather research from Bram Stoker’s Dracula and any other books and movies that Van Helsing is portrayed in and discuss it all in the paper. The main purpose of this paper is to showcase how differently Van Helsing is portrayed in the books and movies that the character is in. Be sure to showcase how weird and creepy he is portrayed in certain movies, and also discuss if Van Helsing is either good or evil. Give information on who Van Helsing is, what he does, where he is from, and etc. Discuss his obsession with Dracula and also give great detail on how is he portrayed very differently in everything that he is in. You may use the books that Van Helsing is in and you may use movies like Hotel Trannsylvania, Bram Stoker’s Dracula and etc.

Make sure to have a introduction paragraph and have a great thesis statement at the end of the paragraph. In the thesis statement, make sure to have 3 topics that you will be discussing in the paper, and have 3 basis of comparison and 3 basis of opinion to go along with each topic.
