For this extra credit paper, you should show how a personal experience illustrates a core idea, principle, or theory of motivation and/or emotion.

• The report should be a 1-2 page double-spaced paper (APA style) submitted via Canvas. Papers must be at least one page long plus a single word on the second page.
• There should be enough detail about your experience so that its relevance to the psychological principle or theory that you are using can be evaluated clearly.
• Make sure that you also show clearly and fully how the psychological principle or theory fits your experience.

The papers will be evaluated using a 0 to 10 scale. The evaluation will be based on whether the experience fits the psychological principle, the degree to which you clearly and fully explain how it fits, the general clarity of writing, and the degree to which there is evidence that you have thought seriously and creatively about the topic.
