This week we expand our knowledge of plane geometry to solid geometry. Go outside and look around at our three-dimensional world from a geometric perspective. Find a single example of a 3D geometric shape in nature (ie. not man-made) and take a photo of it. Focusing on that geometric shape, describe specifically how its shape benefits the object’s function and tell us where you took the photo. Please don’t just take a photo of a tree, you can be more inventive than that. Geometry is all around us, find an interesting 3D shape to share 🙂
