I select nine artwork for the exhibit, they are European artworks from the 18th to the 19th century. Among those wroks, there are eight oil paintings about figures and one very large watercolor wallpaper of figure and landscape.

You will need to explain why you have chosen these works.You will need to describe what space they will be displayed in.You will need to explain the purpose of your exhibition.Art historians often participate in exhibitions and art collections, whether while acting as curators or in writing wall texts or catalog entries.This involves thinking of the works outside of themselves: putting them in dialogue with or in opposition to other works, planning who will see them and how, fitting works and the perceptions of them into certain themes, etc.

You will need to include the following parts: (every paragraph need 3-5 sentences minimum)

• One paragraph detailing the purpose of your exhibition and its expected audience

• One paragraph describing the space and explaining why this is the best space for your chosen works. (If you wish to include a floor plan among the list of images and refer to it, you may do so.)

• A few sentences or a paragraph explaining your approach to picking artworks from the museum

• One paragraph for each artwork you chose from the PMA: Explain why you picked it. Describe how it fits in with the exhibition as a whole. Describe how it will fit into the space. How will guests approach it and interact with it? Based on how it is displayed, are there any other works in your exhibition with which it will form dialogues?

• A few sentences or a paragraph describing how you picked the artwork from the Barnes Foundation.

• One paragraph for the work you chose from the Barnes: Explain why you picked it. Describe how it fits in with the exhibition as a whole. Describe how it will fit into the space. How will guests approach it and interact with it? Based on how it is displayed, are there any other works in your exhibition with which it will form dialogues?

• A few sentences or a paragraph explaining your approach to picking artworks from the required images lists

• One paragraph for each artwork you picked from the required images lists: Explain why you picked it. Describe how it fits in with the exhibition as a whole. Describe how it will fit into the space. How will guests approach it and interact with it? Based on how it is displayed, are there any other works in your exhibition with which it will form dialogues?

• Images of your chosen works with captions (Artist, Title, Date, Medium)

• A Works Cited page (if you need it, then you’ll also need in-text citations)
