Wk 6/part 2 informatics

Your scholarly practice project (SPP) may incorporate a variety of technologies; for example, the use of electronic health records for clinical projects, electronic surveys such as Qualtrics or Survey Monkey, an online video platform, or an application that is already developed or one you may develop for clinical practice.

Garcia Día (2019, p. 416) states, “The future of healthcare and information technology (IT) integration will continue to impact practice and professional education as we move into the 21st century with sophisticated networks of information sharing. As a nation, the United States is advancing technology systems pioneering the marriage of computers and medical records, thereby influencing the increase in health information exchange and provision of nursing care on a geographic scale. Medical records in the information age will continue to provide nurses with interactive communication technology useful in pop-up health centers, hospitals, outpatient settings, and telenursing practice.”
