Why do so many youths use drugs and alcohol?

The drug and alcohol use of 12 to 17 year olds is on the rise. Additional drugs, such as cocaine, methamphetamines, and Ecstasy, are also increasing. Many youths view drug and alcohol use as “no big deal.”
