week 9 journal

Note: Please improve on this. I am a Psychiatric nurse student doing my clinical under a preceptor in an outpatient clinic. NOT A HOSPITAL PLEASE!

Patient is a 20-year-old college student who has been experiencing depression and loneliness. He has been experiencing depression and loneliness. He has not been responding well with therapy. He came to the outpatient clinic where I was doing my clinicals on fluoxetine 10mg. He reported how coping with life has been stressing him out. After the therapy, my preceptor and I increased his fluoxetine to 20mg. Also, Buspar 10mg was added for anxiety. Currently he is doing much better, able to do his school work, able to engage well with daily activities.
