Dissemination of EBP and research, such as presenting results at a conference or writing an article for a journal, is an important part of professional practice. Identify one professional journal and one nursing or health care conference where you might present your project. Discuss why each of your choices is the best option for you to disseminate your new knowledge.

Evidence based practice is a huge part of evaluating situations, observing, testing and a final product. We do this to increase better patient outcomes, improve what we know of the subject only to add more to it. Let us take for example the covid-19 vaccine, the more studies and test projects we can obtain the more data we will have in the coming years. The reason I say this because in our facility where we received our vaccine for covid we also signed a release form stating that the facility was not responsible to any side effects. This is how we obtain our data for future references. If any person gets sick because of the vaccine, then their symptoms go into a huge data base where research is being conducted.
My research is blood culture contamination over the past 9 weeks. I have observed, collected data, re-educated, and re-directed staff in proper aseptic technique. This therefore gave me my data to write and present my findings. I have already talked with the infection control nurse in our facility, and we are going to include proper aseptic blood culture collection at our nursing symposium we hold every year for the nurses. What happens here is we gather in a large conference room with booths promoting great refresher courses with hands, education courses for the nurses. This is a terrific addition for the yearly symposium. I would like to have my article on the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) website for all to read. The reason for this is that contaminated blood cultures ranks highest in the emergency room. By doing this article there it will get the attention of many emergency room nurses who are being affected. Technology is growing day by day in every field, and health care is not an exception. Nowadays, every hospital has a webpage and its own social media account to interact with society daily. This means that health professionals have new tools at their disposal for educating patients about healthy living or providing them with instructions according to what they need (Wilson, 2021).
