The use of solar energy, a clean, renewable, and free energy source, is becoming more and more popular. And many states, such as Vermont, one that you would think was not ideal, is promoting its use.

Research solar energy in the state you live in or if you are a temporary resident in that state, use your home state. Discuss your state’s policies towards solar power. As part of that, here are some things to discuss to get you going. Does the state promote solar power, does it do the opposite, or is it neutral? How much solar power is in that state and how much has it expanded over the last five years? What is its projection in the next few years? What are your thoughts on solar power? Don’t limit yourself to just these questions.
