For this week’s activity, this is more of a practical activity than a research paper. There only needs to be a minimum of 2 paragraphs of text and this submission does not need to focus on APA formatting. Please submit the work you completed and the response paragraphs. Here is the prompt:

Choose a topic of interest (movie, celebrity, etc) and collect 100 tweets related to the topic. Hand-tag them as positive, neutral, or negative. Next, split them into 80 tweets as the training set and the remaining 20 as the testing set. Run one or more classifiers over these tweets to perform sentiment analysis.

What are the precision and recall of these classifiers? (this is paragraph 1)

Which classifier performs better than the others? (this is paragraph 2)

Even though we are not going to worry about APA formatting on this activity, the written text must still contain complete sentences. 4-6 sentences make up a full paragraph. Be sure to avoid fragmented sentences and do not use bulleted/numbered lists for the written paragraphs.
