Assignment: For this assignment, you need to research your own issue.
- Pick a topic that interests you
- The topic must be historical and/ or political in nature.Examples of historical and political issues that are commonly discussed include:
- Second Amendment
- Abortion ( State limitations on the practice)
- Immigration reform
- Fracking
- Confederate Memorial Statues
- Freedom of Speech/ First Amendment Issues
- Tariffs
- President Trumps policies towards immigration or Syria
- Big Tech ( Google, Facebook, Amazon, Apple)
- Homelessness
- Liberal or Conservative bias in the news
- You will need find a reputable article from either a newspaper, magazine, or news channel. Examples of news channels would be CNN, Fox News, NPR. If you are unsure if a topic or news source qualifies for the assignment, please run the idea by me first. Make sure the information comes from a reputable online source. ( Newspaper article, .edu, .gov, etc)
