Question 1.

In this chapter, we discuss the design review process and how it is used to ensure that the design process remains on target. What is likely to occur if configuration management practices are not followed during the design? Why is configuration management (CM) an important facet to the system engineering process? Provide examples of failure to have a robust CM program.

Your response must be 250 words in length and is due by day three of week three (see the syllabus). Provide citation for any material used.

Question 2.

In chapter 6, we discuss the SEMP and how it is used to ensure that the system engineering process. There are twelve sections in our SEMP. The WBS section is very important to this assignment as it breaks the system architecture down into manageable build packages which can in turn help develop a project schedule. Relate to the class how you intend to create your WBS for your SEMP and the process you used to develop your breakdown.
