hiv-grant-proposal

You are head of an organization dedicated to HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention, and are tasked with writing a grant to an international aid organization for funding. Choose a specific geographic area you will work in, and propose an integrated plan that will work to prevent and/or treat HIV infection in a specific targeted population. Your plan should include interventions at the biomedical, behavioral, and community and/or structural levels.

In your proposal, discuss why you are choosing your population. Discuss how your interventions will work to prevent HIV in the population, and how they will support each other. You should clearly state how the chosen interventions will work together to be more effective than they would be on their own. Form an argument why your intervention will be cost-effective and/or equitable. If your intervention has been tried before, what have the results been? Be sure to address any challenges your plan may face (e.g. cost, difficulty reaching your population, social or political willingness, etc).

The paper should be 5-6 pages, double-spaced, Arial 11 pt or Times New Roman 12 pt, standard margins. Make sure to cite any sources you use (any format is fine, as long as it is consistent)–you should have several citations from a variety of sources. Include a bibliography. The bibliography is NOT included in the page count. No title page or abstracts, please.
