Field note 1
Each interview includes the summary, your thoughts, and the application to leadership and regulatory. A nice synthesis is the different perspective of each nurse leader. A compilation of the three interviews will need to be 4.5 pages at a minimum to meet the 1.5 minimum page requirement per interview. This would complete your first field note.
Each week of the course that is identified as a Fieldwork Experience Week, you will document on an event or activity that occurred during this week. This event or activity may concern your project work such as a committee or individual meeting that was held, or may be your observations re: your fieldwork experience in terms of regulatory issues (standards, policies, accreditation, or regulation of nursing, etc.) for that week.
This field note may also be a reflection on the leadership style, skills, or model of your preceptor or on a leader in the organization where you are engaged in your fieldwork. You may also reflect on areas of leadership that you have learned about through your fieldwork experience that have impacted you in your own leadership development.
