Write a 4- to 5-page essay (utilizing at least 3–5 references) in which you respond to questions regarding a hypothetical situation. Follow these directions for a specific program outside of the United States. Do not write a paper in generalities for program evaluation.
Suppose you have been hired to conduct a program evaluation in a country outside of the United States (choose a community education program that you will conduct an evaluation for in a country outside the United States). Respond to the following questions regarding this program:
- Who might be some of the potential stakeholders?
- In what ways may the social, political, and/or cultural context of the program be relevant to its evaluation?
- Discuss funding and resource issues as well as any other foreseeable obstacles to conducting the evaluation.
