case study research paper

Introduction

– This should feature the information of the case study that you were given. It should also feature your initial impressions of a diagnosis and treatment and confirm if you’re hypothesis was confirmed.

Diagnosis and research

– This section will feature why you’re diagnosing the person with this diagnosis. The DSM V is a great reference point and your book can be used as well.

Treatment and research

– Developing a treatment plan is important once a diagnosis is established. You’ll need to discuss why you chose a particular style of therapy, the frequency, a medication and dosage (if you choose to use psychotropic medication) and share why you chose this.

Expected Outcome

– Based on your research you should be able to discuss what the expected outcome should be (what we hope for). This includes if the individual can recover from what is going on in their life, how many sessions, and what they should expect after receiving treatment.

Sources (3 sources required). Your textbook counts as a source. I would also recommend the DSMRV which is available in the library.
