Assignment – Case Study presentation

Your task here is to research 3 cases showing technology as a business solution. (i.e. CRM improved customer tracking, turnover rates, operational efficiencies, profitability, and increased sales) You can use the same technology as the 1st assignment.

Instructions:

In this Case Study presentation on 3 cases that showing technology as a business solution you must to do 15-21 Power Point slides with detailed notes for each slide.

• 15-21-page PowerPoint, 5-7 on each case
• The 3 case that showing as a business technology are:

• Logistics EDI
• CRM
• ERP

Where do I find case studies?

• This is an easy assignment, look at IBM’s web page as an example.
• Almost every business lists case studies showing how their product, (software/ hardware or both) provide a great return on investment for the customer.

Google business technology cases and you’ll find some other good sources.

This Power point presentation must include the following:

a. An Introduction: in your introduction you must clearly say your propose and how you will do that. The best way to do that is by adding a short video with max 30 seconds related to the topic (add detailed notes about the video) and try to select an interesting video in order to grape audience attention (Videos does not count as slide). Also, don’t forget to explain in detail for each slide in the notes section under each slide

b. Content: What are you going to talk about and how you will do that, and here in your Case Study Presentation you need to say the following:

• You will do this research on the three technology that (Logistics EDI, CRM, and ERP) , so you have to find articles that talk about companies that used it and how it worked.
• Clearly define each business problem(s)
• What technology did (would) you use, who makes it, and how was the technology a solution.
• Provide some type of Return of Investment (ROI) ( estimate or actual). ROI could be faster communications, satisfied customers or employees, reduce cost, increased revenue, etc.
• As you will do this case report technology on the three technology that (Logistics EDI, CRM, and ERP) , so you have to find articles that talk about companies that used it and how it worked.
• Please be sure to provide your resources under “Works Cited” as per the American Psychological Association guidelines. (APA)

c. Overview: restate your introduction and make your end power point presentation interesting by adding a short video to it max 30 Seconds with detailed notes about the video

d. Add pictures and visual ads to your power point presentation to make it interesting.

e. Don’t add too much word to slides, the maximum length here is 6 lines per slide and each line contains 6 words maximum. However, you can write the details about each slide in the note section in every slide.
