Children with autistic disorder exhibit delays in speech and language development. Create a detailed brochure or poster (in electronic format) that demonstrates comparison of typical speech/language development with that of a child with autism. Utilize user-friendly language, imagining that your audience is a new parent with a high school education and that the purpose of the product is to educate new parents on how to identify signs of speech or communication delays in their child. Use your text and power point information to compare typically development and atypical development. Include contact information on where parents should turn if they notice any signs of these speech/language delays in their child. Include abbreviate citations for any sources you used (just author and year, or URL).
